Who We Are

The Wisconsin Harm Reduction Alliance (WIHRA) is a statewide network of individuals dedicated to advancing harm reduction through compassion, collaboration, and shared learning. Our members include people working in, practicing, and supporting harm reduction across Wisconsin—each bringing unique experience and expertise. Together, we exchange knowledge, uplift one another’s work, and strengthen the collective impact of harm reduction efforts in our communities. WIHRA is built on the belief that everyone deserves dignity, safety, and the opportunity to thrive.

What We Do

The Wisconsin Harm Reduction Alliance (WIHRA) connects and supports people across the state who are dedicated to reducing drug-related harm. We strengthen Wisconsin’s harm reduction network through shared learning, collaboration, and community care. This collaborative approach allows WIHRA to serve as a trusted source of expertise on harm reduction principles, practices, and implementation for organizations seeking guidance or support. By promoting approaches rooted in dignity, health, and human rights, WIHRA helps build safer, more compassionate communities for everyone.
